Academic Performance
Mill Hill provides excellence in education. The Public Examination Results
demonstrate this. At A-Level our candidates achieved a record 98% pass rate. Our
top 10% of candidates scored at the equivalent of AAAB. Over 96% of our leavers
go on to University. At GCSE our 97 candidates also achieved record results,
with an A*-C pass rate of 95% and 43% of their grades being A*/A.
The Arts and IT
All pupils are encouraged to take part in the musical life of the school. A
major extension and refurbishment of the music facilities has just been
completed. There is a strong tradition of drama at Mill Hill. A group of pupils
recently took a production to the Edinburgh Festival. A new Drama and
Multi-Media Centre opened in 1998. The Art Department is thriving and students
are encouraged to make use of the recently improved facilities. The School is a
leader in Information Technology.
Sports - over 26 disciplines available
Historically great sports achievers, we feature over 26 sports, ranging from rugby and netball to fencing and karate, and we are frequent participants in national and overseas inter-school contests.
